Sansera
From the darkest reaches of northern Denmark, a sinister force has awakened. Sansera is a
young and promising blackened metalcore quintet on a mission to earn their place amongst
the finest heavy music acts in their homeland. Fuelled by raging instrumentals and gut
wrenching, roaring vocals, Sansera bring a new depth and meaning to the word darkness
with their signature sound and visual aesthetics – a disturbing amalgamation leaving the
listener holding on for dear life, before inevitably giving in to the descent and letting the
void take its hold.
Sansera began their journey in 2020 by releasing their first single ‘Totem of Pain’ followed
by the off-single ‘Carved in Bones’ in 2021. Soon after, the band began the release cycle for
their debut album ‘Funeral For A Broken Mind’, unleashing several powerful singles
throughout 2022 such as ‘Child of Evergrowing Darkness’, ‘Enslaved’ and lastly ‘My
Damnation’, featuring Andreas Bjulver from CABAL, before dropping the entire album in
January of 2023. Aside from guest features from CABAL, Sansera also invited Niclas Sonne
from Defecto on the album track ‘Savior’, showing the versatility of the band and cementing
them as a group with friends in every corner of the Danish metal scene.
‘Funeral For A Broken Mind’ elevated Sansera to new heights, making them a name to look
out for in the Danish underground. Throughout the release cycle, the band played several
prominent festivals such as Copenhagen Metal Fest, Aalborg Metal Fest as well as landed
support concerts for bands like MØL. Not only does the band have several shows and tours
planned to promote the album release, but the servants of darkness have another, more
cunning agenda in place…
Sansera are initiating the writing and recording of their EP duology titled ‘Soleil Noir’ – each
record with a unique soundscape and visual side, narrating the tragic tale of a young couple
longing for eternity together, the realisation of their carnal imprisonment and the haunting
escape off their mortal coil. Soileil Noir is a new era for Sansera who aim to dive deeply into
their creativity and artistic expression, bringing out a much wider palette of influences for
their music and visual aesthetic. The duology is to be recorded throughout the summer and
fall of 2023, and an intense release cycle begins by the beginning of 2024. ‘Soileil Noir: Part
I’ releases in the spring of 2024, and ‘Soileil Noir: Part II” releases during late 2024, and the
band is planning an extensive touring schedule to promote both records.
Henret
HENRET er en hårdtslående kraft i den danske metalscene. Med rødder i hardcore, metalcore og deathcore leverer bandet et aggressivt lydbillede som fanger lytteren fra første anslag. Siden dannelsen i 2019 har HENRET hurtigt gjort sig bemærket blandt fans af genren, med deres knusende breakdowns, intense energi og eksplosive liveoptrædener.
Debut EP’en ’Abandon Hope’ (2023) sparkede dørene op og cementerede bandets plads i scenen, bakket op af stærk respons fra både fans og medier. Udgivelsen har givet anledning til shows på bl.a. Copenhagen Metal Fest, Odense Metal Fest, Dødsgangen, Support Our Scene, samt support for prominente navne i miljøet som CABAL, EYES, HEXIS og LIFESICK.
I 2025 indleder HENRET et nyt kapitel med udgivelsen af deres anden EP, Depths Below (26. september 2025) via Prime Collective. Udgivelsen dykker endnu dybere ned i bandets mørke og tunge univers, og fastslår HENRET som et band, man ikke kan komme uden om på den danske metalscene.
